a weekend in Charleston
This past weekend I headed to Charleston to help my oldest brother move out of his apartment. Activities consisted of sitting on the ‘back porch’ of our hotel room while reading, picking up curbside from The Ordinary & the Tattooed Moose [oh me oh my I highly recommend their dinner menu], and packing up and cleaning his apartment … emphasis on the cleaning. It was the best way to safely get out of the house & get some fresh air from the ocean that was 20 minutes away. I tried to snap as many photos as possible because it’s rare these days for me and my older brothers to be in one place at the same time. I figured I would share some of them here!
I just finished my first book on my summer reading list, Where The Crawdads Sing, yesterday which is a story set in the Outerbanks of North Carolina & I’ve also been watching the cheesiest of cheesy shows on Netflix called Outerbanks. In the middle of two stories set in the Outerbanks I was looking forward to being in Charleston [Outerbanks was filmed there] to get some visuals with my stories. This weekend was full of sweet, little blessings.
